ATTENTION
FALCON ID CARD HOLDERS:
As a card holder, it is your responsibility to ensure that your ID card remains free of any damage (i.e. hole punches, cracked edges, taped, etc.). If you card becomes damaged in any way or you notice that your card is in good shape but is still not working, you must visit, call, or email the ID Card Office to get a replacement ID card. You are also responsible for ensuring that your ID card works properly and is activated for the correct access rights, especially for door access. If you live in Bryant Place dorm, you must check your ID card regularly to verify that it works properly. If you notice any problems, please contact Housing or the ID Card Office immediately!

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Falcon Center ID Card Office is to provide support to all students, staff, and faculty in all areas of operation relating to their Falcon Card. We are committed to providing a safe and secure identification system that meets the needs of all involved. Our goal is to expand our services in an efficient and convenient way with a user-friendly and customer-oriented approach.

FALCON CARD RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Falcon Card is the official photo identification for Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College. Card holders must be prepared to show or surrender their card to University/College officials upon request. Falcon Cards are prohibited from being altered. Fairmont State University or Pierpont Community & Technical College shall not be held liable for any loss, cost, damage or expense, whether physical, financial, psychological or otherwise, suffered or incurred by the cardholder in connection with or in any way related to the use or attempted use of the cardholders’ Falcon Card by the cardholder or any other party. The University/College will confiscate any Falcon Card that has been misused, duplicated, or altered. Falcon Cards may be retained temporarily while their validity is checked. A cardholder must possess only one Falcon Card. The use of the Falcon Card by any person other than the person to whom it was issued, or under false pretenses, including changing or attempting to change the validation, is in violation of University/College policies (current or future) and will be dealt with accordingly. It is the cardholder’s responsibility to protect and maintain the condition of their card and ensure that the card works properly. The cardholder is responsible for all uses of the card and is liable for loss or damage. Rights and privileges associated with the card are nontransferable.
STUDENT INFORMATION
Your Falcon Card is your official Student ID card. It is required for use in the libraries, *to access various residence halls/buildings/departments, **Falcon Center (recreation area), **to park and exit the parking garage, and to attend all campus activities and athletic events. It can also be used as your meal card in the campus dining facilities (meal plan purchase required).

*Students who will be residing in Bryant Place will have access to their residence hall through their Falcon Card. Also, students may be issued access to various buildings or departments to which they work or have classes in.

**Depending on your class registration and fee assessment.

FACULTY/STAFF INFOMATION
Your Falcon Card is your official Faculty/Staff ID card. Your Falcon Card is required for use in the libraries, to park in the parking garage (decal purchase required), *to access various buildings/departments, to enter into the Falcon Center (membership dues required) and to attend all campus activities and athletic events.

*Dependent on what building/department your work in and/or need access to.

FALCON DOLLARS
Fairmont State and Pierpont students, faculty, and staff can deposit money onto their Falcon Card at the Student Services Center (main campus) to use it as a "debit card" for different services around campus.

OBTAINING YOUR FALCON CARD
There is no charge for your first Falcon Card. You can visit any of the following offices to have a Falcon Card issued. Please bring a driver's license or a passport for identity verification (a ID will not be issued without a form of identification).

REPLACEMENT OF FALCON CARDS
Replacement of lost, damaged or stolen Falcon Cards can be issued at the Falcon Center ID Card Office located in the Falcon Center and at the Gaston Caperton Center. There is a replacement fee of $15 for each Falcon Card. A driver's license or passport will be requested before a card is issued.
