Variety is what makes the Group Fitness Program at Campus Recreation so popular. We offer an assortment of classes at various times to fit your schedule. We are sure that you will find something that will provide the motivation to achieve your goals or the challenge to improve your level of fitness. 

The Falcon Center fitnes class program offers classes for everyBODY.   View the list of conditions below and see which sessions can provide assistance!

NEW REGISTRATION PROCEDURES


 

STUDENTS & Facility Members




1. Students will no longer sign up for fitness classes and be put on a roster permanently for the session fitness classes.

2.  To participate in a fitness class, students and/or members should just report to the fitness class room about 5-10 minutes prior to the start of class to ensure there is enough space to participate. 

NON-MEMBERS - Anyone who is not a member of the Falcon Center Facility will not be eligible to partipcate in Fitness Classes.  Fitness Classes are now open to facility member only.  To be eligible to participate in the fitness classes, a membership must be purchased. 

 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


CROSS FIT

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.


waterHYDRO PILATES
This class is a non-impact strengthening and stretching movements that require precise breathing and muscle control. Mind-body focus in gradual methodical placement and movement uses moves from yoga, modern dance, and gymnastics.

 

 


 

SpinningSPIN FUSION
This class combines 30-40 minutes of Spinning and 20-30 minutes of Weight Training into one super-class! You can get a great cardiovascular workout from Spinning, a non-impact, individually paced program that includes breathing awareness, heart rate training and motivational coaching. You can then utilize your breathing awareness in the Weight Training portion of class; designed to build strength, increase flexibility and through a highly focused flow of movements.

 


Yoga
YogaEnjoy a yoga based foundation with a twist of fitness. This class is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power. Yoga-Fit overcomes the mystery of yoga by delivering a practical, user-friendly style, which is accessible, understandable, and doable by individuals at any level of fitness.

 

 


ZumbaZUMBA

Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! These routines are perfect for those who want to learn Latin dance moves while burning calories. Classes will feature both low & high intensity workouts that is easy to follow. ZUMBA is based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO!"


waterWater Aerobics
A great cardiovascular workout with resistance training. This class is great for overall fitness and strength conditioning in a fun supportive environment.

 

 

 


30 Minute Abs

30 Minute Abs designed to teach you abdominal, back, and core training exercises to strengthen and tone your entire midsection which is vital to creating perfect posture and sculpting the abs you've always wanted. 30 minute Abs will use a variety of exercises both standing and on the floor to gain the most benefit from your workout.

 

 


ZumbaZUMBA

Aqua Powerwater

Perfect for beginners and structured for all fitness levels.  This class allows you to work at your own pace and get a great all-over body workout.  Workout is designed to increase muscle strength, flexibility, improve coordination, balance, and endurance.  Results should reflect increased energy levels and a whole body "good fell", while enjoying a refreshing comfortable water exercise.

 


 FITNESS CLASS POLICIES 


  1. Classes are a group activity; we request that you follow the instructor's routine.
  2. The warm-up at the beginning of the class is an important part of the workout; please try to attend each class from the start.
  3. Be considerate of others workout space.
  4. Please wait for a class to conclude before entering the studio to setup for the next scheduled class.
  5. Appropriate exercise attire (including shoes) should be worn at all times.
  6. Please leave personal belongings and gym bags in the locker room.
  7. Closable, unbreakable water bottles are permitted and must be kept at the perimeter of the studio.
  8. We request that cell phones and pagers be on silent mode.
