MISSION STATEMENT

Fairmont State University’s Summer Day Camp strives to provide a unique opportunity for children (ages 6-12) to learn and to participate in organized recreation and sport activities. We believe camp provides an opportunity for personal growth, increased self-esteem and friendship building. We hope to create a space for young people to learn how to work as a group while gaining confidence in their unique abilities as individuals.

arts25.00 Late Cancellation Fee - If you wish to withdraw from a session, you must let us know three weeks prior to the beginning of the session. If you withdraw from any session after the three week deadline, you will incur this fee.

$25.00 Late Payment Fee - If payment for a session is received after the due date, you must give us verbal confirmation that your child will be attending camp to keep your spot, and you will be assessed a $25 late payment fee. Failure to do so will result in possible cancellation of that session and implementation of the late cancellation fee.

Late Pickup Fee - There is a five minute grace period when it comes to picking up a camper. After those five minutes (4:35 for Regular Camp and 5:35 for Extended Day Camp) there will then be a $1 fee assessed for every minute until the camper(s) is picked up.

tennisRefund Request - For a refund to be processed a letter must be sent to the FSU Summer Day which includes name, reason for refund, date(s) of session(s), address, and social security number. Reasons for refunds are as follows: overpayment and cancellation of a session already paid for prior to the week before the session begins. A refund/credit will not be given once it is less then a week before the beginning of the session in question. All refunds are handled at the discretion of the Camp Director and questions should be directed to them.
