SUMMARY:Honor Flight Cards for Veterans
DESCRIPTION:Honor Flight is an organization dedicated to honoring Veterans from World War II through Vietnam. The Veterans are celebrated and honored for their service and sacrifice with a trip to Washington\, DC\, where they will be honored at the memorials dedicated to them. During the bus trip to DC\, each Veteran receives a large manila envelope containing cards and letters from friends\, family members\, and other veteran supporters. Pierpont Community and Technical College will participate in delivering mail to these amazing veterans. \nWe will be meeting at our Caperton Center Campus on February 17 and at our Advanced Technology Center on February 19 to come together as a community to write cards and letters of appreciation.
