Purpose Statement
 
By incorporating a design strategy that reinforces a consistent look and feel and emphasizes our identity, we ensure that our brand remains professional, memorable and impactful. Therefore, every touch point — from one-page informational handouts to brochures to all of our website and social media platforms — should adhere to the high standards that have made our brand strong. The guidelines have been specifically created to provide the graphic tools necessary to visually preserve and grow the value and integrity of the Pierpont Community & Technical College brand.
 
This Faculty Marketing Tool Kit serves as the official guide for all Pierpont schools, departments and units. It is intended to help anyone who writes, edits or designs printed or digital materials for and about Pierpont Community & Technical College. 
 
Consistent use of this Tool Kit will ensure that Pierpont trademarks are being properly applied to official stationery, business cards, signage, institution web sites, products, publications and other collateral materials.

As your partner in marketing the College and its many programs, we want to provide you with easy-to-use tools for your daily communication projects. It is important to keep the College name consistent in content. The guidelines not only apply to Pierpont’s identity mark, but also to Pierpont branded visuals and voice. Our identity mark is the most recognizable part of the Pierpont academic brand. Therefore, consistency is important.
 
To preserve the integrity and impact of our “brand name,” it is critical that we establish a cohesive identity in the many communications vehicles we use to share information with our constituents. Pierpont has finalized its own guidelines for precise branding. These guidelines have been specifically created to provide the graphic tools necessary to visually preserve and grow the value and integrity of the Pierpont Community & Technical College brand.
 
Vendors—Printing
 
Once proposed promotional materials have been approved, Marketing staff will determine how they will be created. For printing needs, we will refer to Pierpont’s own in-house provider, Print Services. All print and copy bidding must be handled through Print Services in order to ensure that all print materials intended for marketing purposes created by the College are of a high level of quality, priced consistently, and easily tracked by the Print Services and Marketing and Public Relations Offices. Morgantown Printing and Binding is the official vendor for publications not produced by Print Services.
