Allison McCue is Pastry and Baking Program Coordinator and Instructor for Pierpont Community and Technical College. She is a Certified Culinarian and Pastry Culinarian as well as an alumna of both the Culinary and Pastry degree programs at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. McCue is a 2017 NISOD Excellence Award winner and a 2015 recipient of the Award for Excellence in Academic Advising.

United Hospital Center Diagnostic Medical Sonography held a graduate reception on Friday, December 8, in honor of the 2017 graduates.  Diplomas were presented to Katy Brugnoli R.T. (R), Bridget McClain R.T. (R)  and Shay Yonaley R.T. (R) by Rosemary Trupo, MBA, RT, RDMS, Education Coordinator, and Sam Maynard, RT, RDMS, RDCS, RVT, Clinical Instructor, following completion of the eighteen-month training program.

BRIDGEPORT — The Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center in Bridgeport offers students a fast, affordable means of acquiring the necessary skills and certifications needed to begin a lucrative career in the field of aviation. Tom Stose, director of the Aerospace Education Center, said the program, where students can earn an associate degree in aviation maintenance technology from Pierpont Community & Technical College, is the only one of its kind in the Mountain State.
 
Bridgeport, W.Va. — Pierpont Community & Technical College students at United Hospital Center’s Radiologic Technology Program received top honors at the annual West Virginia Society of Radiologic Technologists Conference held at Canaan Valley Resort.  The students received first place out of 18 teams competing in the student quiz bowl and second place in the research paper competition.
