Beach began her career in design following her internship in New York City with Dorothy Draper Inc., and
having graduated from the University of Charleston in 1992 at a local commercial design firm.
Over the past 30 years she has expanded her portfolio with a diverse set of design experiences and
projects from visual merchandising, small offices and hospitals to museums and even stage design.
Beach has received honors and awards, including from the National Society of Leadership & Success
(WVU Chapter) in 2020, the 2014 Pierpont Pride Award and the 2014 NISOD Excellence
Award. In 2022 she received an Honorable Recognition from the International LIV
Hospitality Design 2021 Competition for her work on the 3rd floor ATC Proposal.
Beach is adding the layer of design education to her resume with her 12 years of teaching Applied
Design at Pierpont Community & Technical College.
