The President’s Cabinet serves as the central leadership and advisory body to the President of the college, guiding strategic decision-making and institutional alignment. With a focus on collaboration, transparency, and accountability, the Cabinet ensures that college-wide initiatives, policies, and performance metrics are thoughtfully reviewed and aligned with the institution’s mission and goals.

Purpose & Charge

The President’s Cabinet serves as the primary decision-making and advisory body to the President of the college. Its purpose is to:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of institutional priorities.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with the college’s mission.
  • Review and recommend policy, curriculum, and institutional initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (enrollment, retention, budget, workforce partnerships).
  • Ensure transparency in communication and decision-making.

Decision-Making & Governance

  • The Cabinet, upon consensus, provides recommendations forwarded to the Board of Governors for final approval, when needed.

  • The President ensures decisions align with institutional and accreditation requirements.

  • Full Cabinet Meeting: Weekly (to allow time for deeper strategic work and reporting); note the change to Item #5, depending on the week.
