Overview
The Electrical Machinery Advanced Skill Set enables students to work on electrical circuits in the following areas: three-phase electricity, ladder logic circuitry, relays and contactors, DC and AC motors, motor control circuits, basic motor starters, 2- and 3-wire control circuits, reversing circuits, stop and emergency stop circuits, reduced voltage applications, timing and delay circuits, and troubleshooting.
Career Opportunities
Students who complete this program will have skills that enable them to function in a power generation station, midstream processing plant, or in a manufacturing facility as an operator or maintenance technician.
