Amanda Hawkinberry joined the Pierpont Pride in November 2014 after graduating from Pierpont with an AAS in Office Management and Technology. She has served in various roles throughout the college, including Program Assistant to the Dean and Administrative Assistant to the Provost. In January 2022, Amanda transitioned to the President’s Office to serve as the Executive Assistant to the President and Board of Governors.  

Hawkinberry served as the Classified Staff Council Chair from June 2017 until January 2022. She completed the Pierpont Leadership Institute in November 2019 and was the recipient of the 2019 Excellence Award from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD).   

During her time as a student, Hawkinberry was the 2014 Outstanding Office Management and Technology Student and recipient of the Francis A. Pierpont Scholarship.
