Professor Ellison teaches mathematics courses at Pierpont.  She is also the Assistant Dean of the School of General Education and Professional Studies and Math Course Coordinator.  She holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Mathematics from WVU.  She has taught previously at A-B College (now University) and New River Community and Technical College in Lewisburg.  She has tutored math and chemistry in the past as well.  She lives in Fairmont, WV with her two children, Parker and Mallory.
