Feltz is a native of Barrackville, West Virginia. She has always found herself interested in food or people who made good food; eventually, she listened to what her inner voice was telling her. Feltz enrolled in college right out of high school, and it wasn’t the best fit for her at that time. It took a few more years to get serious about finishing her education. Eventually, she found Pierpont Community and Technical College where she worked through the Culinary, Dietary, and Pastry programs. She participated on the school’s Culinary Competition team for two years during which time the team competed in the American Culinary Federation’s Northeast Regional. In 2014 Feltz was named the ACF WV Chapter’s “Student Chef of the Year”. Feltz is a Certified Culinarian and a Certified Pastry Chef with the American Culinary Federation. This year she is attempting to move up with the ACF and become a Certified Culinary Educator.
After graduating from Pierpont, Fetz enrolled at Fairmont State University where she completed her bachelor’s degree and then a master’s degree in Business Administration.
Feltz has been a full-time faculty member with Pierpont since the Fall of 2017. In addition to working for Pierpont, she is the Assistant Coach for Fairmont Senior High School’s Cross Country Team.
