Frequently Asked Questions
How do I request a graphic design project?
Submit a Marketing Request Form with details about your project, including the purpose, audience, format (e.g., flyer, social media graphic), and deadline. The earlier you submit, the more support we can provide.
How far in advance should I request design support?
Please allow 5–7 business days for standard design projects. Larger campaigns or multi-piece projects may require 2–3 weeks. Rush requests may be accommodated based on availability, but are not guaranteed.
Can I design my own materials?
Yes, but all self-designed materials must:
- Use approved logos, colors, and fonts
- Follow Pierpont’s brand guidelines
- Be submitted to the Marketing team for review and approval before distribution
What happens if I use off-brand designs or unapproved logos?
Materials that do not follow Pierpont’s brand standards may be subject to removal or replacement. This includes:
- Flyers with incorrect colors or fonts
- Social media graphics using outdated or altered logos
- Promotional items with unauthorized branding
Maintaining brand consistency protects the College’s reputation and ensures professionalism across all platforms.
Can I get help updating an old flyer or graphic?
Absolutely. Submit the original file (if available) and we’ll help update it to meet current brand standards.
What types of design projects can I request?
We support:
- Flyers, posters, and postcards
- Social media graphics
- Event signage and banners
- Email headers and campaign visuals
- Presentation templates
