Design Process

  1. Submit a Marketing Request to share your project goals, audience, and timeline.

  2. We’ll collaborate to define messaging, format, and design direction.

  3. Our team will create visuals aligned with Pierpont’s brand guidelines and provide drafts for feedback.

  4. Approved files will be delivered in print-ready and digital formats.

Design Standards

To maintain brand integrity:

  • All designs must use approved logos, colors, and fonts
  • Visuals should reflect Pierpont’s brand personality:

  • Templates are available for common materials to streamline production

Departmental Canva Access

While the Marketing team provides full-service design support, departments also have access to a shared Canva account for basic design needs. This includes pre-approved templates for flyers, presentations, and digital graphics.

  • Do not change the password. This ensures shared access and brand consistency.

How do I request a graphic design project?

Submit a Marketing Request Form with details about your project, including the purpose, audience, format (e.g., flyer, social media graphic), and deadline. The earlier you submit, the more support we can provide.

Please allow 5–7 business days for standard design projects. Larger campaigns or multi-piece projects may require 2–3 weeks. Rush requests may be accommodated based on availability, but are not guaranteed.

Yes, but all self-designed materials must:

  • Use approved logos, colors, and fonts
  • Follow Pierpont’s brand guidelines
  • Be submitted to the Marketing team for review and approval before distribution

Materials that do not follow Pierpont’s brand standards may be subject to removal or replacement. This includes:

  • Flyers with incorrect colors or fonts
