No. All web edits must be submitted through the Office of Marketing and Communications. This ensures consistency with Pierpont’s branding, accessibility standards, and technical requirements.
How do I request a webpage update or new page?
Submit a Marketing Request Form with details about the content you’d like updated or added. Include your goals, audience, and any supporting materials. For new pages, we recommend scheduling a discovery meeting to plan layout and messaging.
How long does it take to complete a web update?
Standard updates are typically completed within 3–5 business days. New page creation or redesigns may take longer depending on complexity and content needs.
Can I use a website outside of Pierpont’s domain to represent my program or organization?
No. All official web content representing Pierpont must be hosted on the College’s website. External websites may not be used to represent academic programs, student organizations, or College initiatives.
Can I use Pierpont’s logo on an external website or personal page?
No. Pierpont’s logos and brand assets may not be used on unofficial websites, personal blogs, or external platforms without written permission from the Office of Marketing and Communications. Unauthorized use will result in removal.
Can I embed videos, forms, or documents on my webpage?
Yes, but all embedded content must meet accessibility standards and be approved by the Marketing team. We’ll help ensure it functions properly across devices and platforms.
