Celebrating Graduates Who Make a Difference
The Alumni Impact Award honors Pierpont Community & Technical College graduates whose achievements, leadership, service, and innovation have made a meaningful impact in their professions, workplaces, and communities.
This award recognizes alumni who exemplify the values of Pierpont by creating opportunities for others, demonstrating excellence in their careers, and giving back through service and leadership.
Whether through professional success, community involvement, entrepreneurship, or advocacy, Alumni Impact Award recipients represent the best of what it means to be a Pierpont graduate.
Who can be Nominated?
Nominees must:
- Be graduates of Pierpont Community & Technical College
- Have earned an associate degree or certificate
- Demonstrate achievement, leadership, service, innovation, or community impact
Self-nominations are welcome, and nominations may also be submitted by colleagues, employers, family members, friends, faculty, staff, or fellow alumni.
Selection Criteria
Recipients may be recognized for excellence in one or more of the following areas:
Professional Achievement
Demonstrates leadership, innovation, or significant contributions within their profession or industry.
Community Impact
Makes a positive difference through volunteerism, civic engagement, public service, or advocacy.
Leadership and Character
Exhibits integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to serving others while representing Pierpont with pride.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Shows entrepreneurial success or innovative thinking that has created meaningful impact for others.
Alumni Wall of Honor
Recipients of the Alumni Impact Award will be permanently recognized on the Pierpont Alumni Wall of Honor located on Pierpont’s main campus.
