Located at the West Virginia AeroTech Park alongside the North Central West Virginia Airport, the new Aviation Maintenance Technology Educational Facility will place students at the center of one of the region’s growing aviation and aerospace hubs. Designed to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 147 standards, the approximately 65,000-square-foot facility will expand enrollment capacity in Aviation Maintenance Technology from approximately 130 students to as many as 230 students while creating additional space for welding, fabrication, manufacturing, and other workforce training programs.

More than a building project, this facility represents an investment in people. It will provide students with hands-on learning experiences, industry-recognized credentials, and direct connections to employers who are helping drive the region’s economy. By expanding access to high-demand technical education, Pierpont is strengthening the workforce pipeline that supports West Virginia’s aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, and skilled trades industries.
