Introductory Welding

The Introductory Welding course is designed for students who are beginning their journey into welding as a hobby, professional skill, or as a career and need a place to begin.

 

This course focuses on learning the overall principles of welding, basic welding safety, measurement, as well as the welding process of Flux Core Arc Welding. Students will learn through a series of lectures, virtual reality welding, as well as live welding in an active shop environment.

Prior to the beginning of the course, students will be provided with a list of safety gear that they are expected to purchase for themselves and should expect to spend $250-500 on this equipment.
