Barrett is a lifelong resident of West Virginia and has been teaching in the state for 25 years.  Barrett earned an education from West Virginia University. At Pierpont, Barrett was first employed in the Laboratory Preschool and is now the Director of the Laboratory Preschool and the Early Childhood Program Coordinator.
