Earned Bachelor of Arts in Family & Consumer Science Education from Fairmont State College in 1987 and a Master of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences – Human Nutrition and Foods from West Virginia University in 2001. Earned the credential of Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in 2001 with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and maintains licensure with the state of West Virginia as a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN).
Primary courses of instruction include Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Lifespan Nutrition, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and ServSafe.
