Susan Woods Coffindaffer is an Associate Professor and the program coordinator for the Paralegal Studies program. Susan is licensed as an active attorney in the State of West Virginia, and she practiced law for over 30 years. Her major practice areas were real estate and mineral law, but she also has considerable experience in corporate law, estate law, family law, and administrative law. She has taught full-time at Pierpont since 2012.
Susan is a native of North Central West Virginia. She grew up in Shinnston where she attended grade school, junior high, and high school. She is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education, with teaching specializations in English (7-12), Mathematics (7-9), and Vocal Music (7-12). She earned Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Jurisprudence degrees from West Virginia University.
