Retired from Mon Health System / Mon General Hospital, Thomas Cole’s role with the hospital was business development and physician relations. Prior to this, Cole was an Astra Zeneca Pharmaceutical Representative in North Central WV.
Currently, Cole is a volunteer with the Mon Health Foundation, Board Member of Habitat for Humanity, Board
President of Marion County Rescue Squad, President of the Immaculate Conception
Men’s Society, and President of the Immaculate Conception Pastoral Council.
Cole moved to Fairmont in 1966 when his father went to work for Consol Coal. He is a graduate
of Fairmont Senior High School and Fairmont State College.
Cole is married to the former Susan Burns of Fairmont. Daughter Jennifer Cole Tucker is a
Medical Physicist and lives with her husband Allan and sons Anderson, Cole, and
August in Bedford, New Hampshire. Son Michael Cole is a Computer Engineer and
lives with his wife Dr. Rose Simis Cole and sons James and Samuel in Charlottesville, Virginia.
