On the Application:

  • Education Goal: I am not looking for any degree or certificate program
  • Program: Non‑Degree

Next Steps:

  1. Complete a Transient Permission Form with your home institution
    • This often involves your academic advisor and registrar
  2. Submit the completed form to:
    registrar@pierpont.edu
  3. Pierpont’s Registrar’s Office will register you for the approved course(s)

Will My Summer Credits Transfer?

Many students take Summer classes at Pierpont that transfer back to their home institution. Because each college sets its own transfer policies, it’s important to take a few simple steps to reduce risk and avoid surprises.

To help ensure your credits transfer:

  1. Talk with your academic advisor at your home institution
  2. Complete any required transient or guest student approval form
  3. Submit the approved form to Pierpont before registration

Once approved, Pierpont’s Registrar Office will register you for your course(s).

Checking with your advisor early helps ensure a smoother experience and timely registration.
